A vertical ladder with fall arrest, also known as a safe ladder, is an alternative to the traditional safety cage ladders. A fall arrest system is incorporated in the ladder’s mounting and provides a high level of security for persons climbing. This system is designed to protect 1 or 2 persons climbing simultaneously, separated by a distance of 4 meters. Each person is equipped with a safety harness that is attached to the rail track by a rigid track trolley. The trolley is equipped with an energy absorber that follows the user and locks instantly in case of a fall.
